The End of the Season

Evan's last game was last night. I think he had fun this season and we'll be signing him up again next year. Sometimes his focus wasn't all there but he's four so we'll cut him some slack.

Our cheering section!

Evan and his friend from daycare Channing. So cute.
He was so proud of his medal!

Evan's Preschool Graduation

Seriously hard to believe our little guy is starting Kindergarten this fall. Where has the time gone!?
His preschool graduation was a cute little ceremony and even though it was kind of a spectacle being in public with all four kids right now we had a good time. Here are a few shots I took.

He seemed so nervous up in front of all those people.
 With his teacher Miss Suzanne.
 He was so proud!

We call this the baby train :)
I can't believe he will be five in less than two weeks, it's been blur.
This is our first photo as a family of six. SIX!

Wesley & Audrey Are One Month

I've started this blog post like four times but I can't seem to make any progress! So so busy! But I'm going to try really hard this time before I forget all their check up stats.
At their one month check ups Wesley was 8 pounds (10th percentile) and 20 inches long (12th percentile). Audrey was 7 pounds 13 ounces (20th percentile) and 20-1/4 inches long (25th percentile). Both are still smaller than Erin when she was born :)
They are still eating 3-4 ounces every 2-1/2-3 hours. I started sleep training yesterday and I've already seen results, I got 4-1/2 hours of straight sleep last night! That is the most I've gotten in a real REAL long time.
My pediatrician put Audrey on Zantac because we think she has reflux, she is really uncomfortable after she eats, so I'm hoping this helps her. We might put Wes on it too if it works for Audrey.
My maternity leave is flying by, I only have a little over a month left, it makes me super sad to even think about going back to work.
Well I hear some little squeakers waking up from their naps so I guess I'll just leave it at that. Here are some pictures from our first month.

First Baths

Audrey had her first bath last week, she didn't seem to mind it too much, she was a little squirmy but no meltdown or anything.

Wesley had his first bath on Monday this week, his umbilical cord held on for a record breaking 16 days. He pretty much hated his first bath. As he hates all things that involve him being naked. Love my little old man :)

Busy Days and Nights

Well I'll give it to you straight. Exhausting. Seriously. The twins are still eating every 2-1/2-3 hours and that includes at night. I do most of the feedings at night by myself. I am sleep deprived but these little babies are so worth. They really are good babies and don't really cry very much yet. Unless they are being changed, they both hate that, especially Wes.
Last week we took them to their 1st pediatrician visit and everything checked out fine. Wes was 5 pounds 13 ounces and Audrey was 6 pounds 2 ounces. That was at one week old.
We got a call on Tuesday from our pediatrician after he got the labs back from the new born screening at the hospital and it showed Wesley's thyroid came back abnormal. So the following day we needed to go back to the hospital and have them repeat the newborn screen. He said it's pretty common for this to happen so we are just waiting to see results and not worrying until we have to.
Also that day Evan was supposed to go to preschool...like he does every Wednesday. And we forgot. Completely forgot! I didn't remember until after I went to bed that night. We have obvious brain overload at this point. His lovely teacher sympathized with me and is letting me bring him an extra day this week at no charge. Which will be great since Todd goes back to work TOMORROW! But getting everyone up and ready to go in the morning by myself will be interesting. I may need to start my day at 5am.
So what else...??? Well that's all I can think of for now, so here are some photos from the past two weeks.

And these are a few of the pictures the hospital took. We have professional photos being take of all of us today, I'm pretty excited since it is my favorite newborn photographer!
