Evan is getting around pretty good. He still just scoots around on his belly but he is surprisingly fast. He's so curious about everything that he shouldn't play with, of course. He goes straight for any kind of wires or electronic device. One day I will do an experiment and line up bunch of toys and add one non-toy and I guarantee he will go for the non-toy. The boy just knows what he is not supposed to have. But we've baby proofed the room he plays in as best we could. I would consider removing all furniture just to keep him from bumping his head but that would be a bit extreme.
This is one of his favorite places to play. Not exactly as intended but he enjoys it :-)
He learned to pull up into a stand this week. Mainly it's just been on a storage ottoman we have because it's just the right height. He has no idea what to do once he is up though and usually just free falls into my arms. I don't know what he would do if I weren't sitting next to him. I'm trying to teach him to fall back onto his bottom but he's not quite getting it yet.
He can also pull onto the baby gate and laugh endlessly at Lilly on the other side.
Nothing makes this baby happier than Lilly. It's ridiculous really.
And lastly, he now has two teeth. The second one came in last weekend with very little fuss. He was actually at my moms overnight when it came through and he slept all night. I think he may be getting another one soon because he has been very fussy and clingy today and biting on EVERYTHING in site (including me). And the drool, it is never ending.
He is getting so much more active so it is increasingly difficult to get good pictures. I was able to snap this one today and you can kind of see that second little tooth poking out there.
And that's Evan in a nutshell right now. Keeping us busy as usual and growing and learning so fast. Crazy crazy to think he is coming up on 9 months. And even crazier to think he will be a year old in less than 4 months.
