Trying It Out

We tried a little self feeding tonight.
I read a survey the other night about what age a child started to self feed and the majority said 12-13 months. I was surprised actually. I didn't think Evan was really ready since he seems to want to launch most of his food across the room lately.
So we tried it out tonight.

We were outside and he was wearing something pretty stain ridden anyway so why not!

He did really well to my surprise! He seems to grasp the concept after just one try. And the look on his face was priceless, soooo proud of himself.

Then he thought, let's just cut to the chase!

Wrong way! Let's try again.

Better.
It seriously was too cute watching him. Just another reason everyday of him growing and learning is amazing.
